Wall Street Coffee House
Wall Street Coffee House on Wall Street
In 2010, Teresa Johnson with the help of her daughter Meagan — along with many friends and volunteers — launched a sweet little business called the Wall Street Coffee House and Emporium, located at 62 Wall Street in Downtown Asheville.
By the summer of 2011, Teresa's coffee house withstood a critical test of time; that is, it shook its fist at The Great Recession and will soon celebrate it first year in operation. Stay tuned for more info about the upcoming everyone-is-welcomed party featuring the Coffee Cup Girls of Wall Street Coffee House.
Increasingly, Wall Street Coffee House is becoming a favorite among downtown workers and residents of the Asheville area, and for good reason. For example, this inviting coffee house is located directly across from the Wall Street Parking Garage where the first hour is FREE.
The coffee house provides a friendly, laid-back, alcohol-free environment. But it's more than coffee, snacks, and free WIFI. There are newly upholstered couches and plenty of handmade crafts for sale.
So when you're ready to take a break from downtown shopping, check out Wall Street Coffee House for a quiet spot in the heart of Downtown Asheville. You won't find anyone finer and friendlier than Teresa and her wonderful crew.
WALL STREET COFFEE HOUSE FACTIOD #1: In addition to owning and running the coffeehouse, Teresa is a professional upholsterer; so if you have questions about upholstery, she's a go-to person.
WALL STREET COFFEE HOUSE FACTOID #2: There's outdoor seating, too, for a little people watching and some fresh air while you relax with a smoothie.
